About the Role
Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join a leading building services consultancy in London?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading building services consultancy, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, residential, education, healthcare, mixed-use and public sectors. You'll collaborate with a highly experienced team to deliver innovative, sustainable engineering solutions, taking projects from initial concept through to successful completion.
The Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
- Design mechanical building services systems across all RIBA project stages.
- Produce calculations, specifications, reports and technical drawings.
- Work closely with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Attend client and project meetings.
- Support the delivery of low-carbon and energy-efficient building solutions.
- Carry out site inspections and surveys to ensure design compliance.
- Use industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD, IES and Hevacomp.
About You
You'll have:
- A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience within a UK building services consultancy.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guidance and relevant British Standards.
- Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, IES and/or Hevacomp.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Working towards CEng or membership of CIBSE/IMechE is desirable.
