You will be responsible for delivering electrical building services designs across all project stages, working closely with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, efficient and sustainable engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical building services systems including LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm and associated systems.
- Produce calculations, specifications, reports and technical drawings.
- Develop designs from concept through to detailed design and construction.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and attend client, design and site meetings.
- Support sustainable and low-carbon building solutions.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with design standards.
About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience within a UK building services consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, BS 7671 and UK regulations.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit/BIM environments.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.
