About Us

We are a human-centric, planet-conscious engineering consultancy delivering intelligent, sustainable solutions to complex design challenges in the built environment across the UK and beyond.

Our teams work across a wide range of disciplines—including acoustics, air quality, building services (MEP), fire, lighting, security, and sustainability—combining technical expertise with creative problem-solving to bring buildings to life. Whatever the project, we are committed to outstanding design and to creating places that meet the needs of the communities they serve.

We also strive to create an environment where everyone can thrive. You’ll be part of a business that values your individuality, supports your wellbeing, and invests in your development. Team members benefit from a 9-day fortnight working pattern, active community groups, social and networking events, and extensive professional development opportunities. Our benefits package includes private medical cover, an electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme, stock options, and up to 30 days of annual leave.

Whatever your ambitions, we want to help you develop your skills, achieve your goals, and enjoy what you do.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated BIM Technician to join our team in Manchester.

Here, BIM is more than modelling—it’s a driver of innovation, collaboration, and smarter decision-making. Our BIM community plays a central role in shaping our digital strategy and ensuring we use information intelligently to design buildings that perform beautifully and sustainably.

You’ll join a supportive, dynamic team where creativity and precision go hand in hand, and where your ideas can genuinely influence how we work.

You’ll support a wide range of projects across sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Residential, and Commercial, working closely with both local engineers and our national BIM & Digital Engineering community.

In this role, you will:

  • Produce accurate, data-rich 3D models and 2D outputs using Autodesk Revit

  • Set up and manage MEP models to ensure clarity, quality, and efficiency

  • Coordinate design information across disciplines and identify clashes

  • Review external models and document updates clearly

  • Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to internal learning initiatives

  • Use automation tools such as Dynamo, DiRoots, and RF Tools to optimise workflows

  • Support CDE platforms (including BIM 360 / ACC) and information-management processes

Your work won’t just support projects—it will support our purpose.

About You

You’re a detail-driven, collaborative technician who enjoys problem-solving and exploring new digital tools. You take pride in delivering high-quality models and understand the value of structured information in supporting better design and delivery.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience working on Revit MEP projects

  • Familiarity with clash detection, CDE workflows, and automation tools

  • Confidence managing modelling tasks independently

  • Knowledge of the BS EN ISO 19650 standards

  • A proactive approach to sharing ideas, improving processes, and supporting others

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Solibri, and Microsoft Excel

  • Interest in automation or visual programming (e.g., Dynamo)
