About the Role: Senior BIM Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to join the Hampshire-based team. This role is a key position within the project delivery process, responsible for leading BIM implementation on multidisciplinary building services projects. You will manage the setup and coordination of BIM models, ensure high-quality deliverables, and act as a technical lead supporting junior team members.

As a BIM Coordinator, you will work closely with engineers, architects, consultants, and clients to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle—from initial design through to tender and construction phases. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining model integrity, producing clash detection reports, and ensuring compliance with BIM standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead BIM coordination and modelling activities across multidisciplinary projects, starting from concept and continuing through tender stages.

  • Set up, manage, and maintain BIM models to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with project standards.

  • Regularly conduct clash detection reviews, produce clash reports, and then coordinate resolutions with project teams.

  • Carefully review and ensure BIM documentation, including BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), meets project requirements as well as industry best practices.

  • Actively mentor and support junior BIM team members, providing training and guidance to develop their skills and confidence.

  • Effectively liaise with internal engineering teams, external consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project delivery.

  • Continuously promote improvement in BIM processes, tools, and workflows within the team.

  • Represent the BIM team in internal and external meetings, offering technical expertise and best practice advice.

About You

  • Proven experience working with BIM within the building services or MEP engineering sector.

  • Proficient in Revit MEP and experienced with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks or similar.

  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows (e.g., ISO 19650).

  • Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

  • A collaborative team player who supports colleagues and contributes positively to the company culture.

  • Proactive problem solver with a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.
