About the Role

As a Revit / CAD Technician, you’ll support engineers in producing accurate 3D models and coordinated drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary design team, contributing from early design stages through to completion and helping ensure robust and well-coordinated BIM outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3D Modelling & Drafting: Produce and maintain detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical and electrical building services using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Software & Standards: Apply consistent modelling standards and stay up-to-date with the latest software developments.
  • Process Development: Support ongoing improvements to Revit workflows, templates, and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and external disciplines to ensure accuracy and alignment across all project elements.
  • Information Management: Manage design information and support clear communication throughout project stages.
  • Quality & Deadlines: Deliver accurate, high-quality work within agreed project timeframes.

Candidate Requirements

2–3 years’ experience using Revit MEP within a building services consultancy or contractor environment. Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building services. Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD (Navisworks experience beneficial). Solid understanding of BIM processes and coordination. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

Familiarity with BIM standards, including ISO 19650. Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, or other BIM-related tools.
