CAD/REVIT MEP Technician

An established and respected Building Services Engineering Consultancy, with over 50 years of industry experience, is looking to appoint a Revit / CAD Technician (MEP) to join its growing design team.

The consultancy delivers high-quality, practical, and sustainable MEP design solutions across a broad range of sectors, including healthcare, education, leisure, retail, industrial, and commercial developments. Known for its collaborative culture and technical excellence, the business combines proven engineering expertise with modern BIM and digital design tools.

The Role

This role will see you supporting engineers in the production of high-quality 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit MEP and AutoCAD. You’ll be involved in projects from early concept through to completion, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate, coordinated, and efficient design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Producing and maintaining detailed MEP models and drawings in Revit and AutoCAD Supporting engineers with coordinated BIM outputs across all project stages Applying company standards and best practices consistently Assisting with the development and improvement of Revit and BIM processes Coordinating with other design disciplines to ensure integrated solutions Managing project information and ensuring timely, accurate delivery Delivering high-quality work within agreed deadlines

About You

2–3+ years’ experience using Revit MEP within a consultancy or contractor environment Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building services systems Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD Understanding of BIM coordination principles Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work to deadlines A collaborative team player with good communication skills

Desirable

Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM standards Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, or similar BIM tools
