The Job
Within this MEP consultant, working together, you will design various projects, duties include:
- Discussing projects with clients and other design team.
- Producing fee proposals and producing feasibility reports enabling the project to identify preliminary issues and assist with project cost estimates.
- Working with manufacturers where bespoke equipment is required.
- Producing reports and specifications whilst attending various meetings from stage 1 to 4.
- Monitoring works, reviewing contractor information and proposals, attending construction progress meetings and producing inspection reports during construction phase
- Snagging works deemed as complete and witness commissioning.
- Projects worked on range from £250k to £60m
- Working on residential, medical/pharmaceutical, specialist facilities, commercial, retail and educational projects.
- Regular Project involvement – security/access control/intruder/CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, electrical systems ELV and LV, LV backup systems, Lighting design, lighting controls, BMS, structured cabling systems, accessible systems, containment systems, electrical infrastructure, decarbonisation, PV, car charging systems.
