Senior Electrical Design Engineer

They are now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Sheffield office. 

Role Responsibilities

Lead the design, specification, and delivery of electrical building services on a variety of projects, from concept through to completion. Produce detailed calculations, reports, and electrical design documentation. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, structural engineers, architects, and project managers. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are fully met. Support junior engineers through mentoring and technical guidance. Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and best practice guidelines. Attend site visits, design meetings, and project reviews as required.

Key Skills & Experience

Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Chartered or working toward Chartership (IEng/CEng) highly desirable. Strong technical background in electrical building services engineering. Experience across sectors such as commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare, or similar. Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Amtech, Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD, Revit advantageous). Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary environment. Strong communication, client-facing, and leadership skills.
