About the Role
Working closely with engineers, designers and project teams, you will be responsible for producing accurate and coordinated Revit models and drawings across a range of building services projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and develop detailed MEP models and drawings using Autodesk Revit.
- Work closely with MEP engineers and designers to develop coordinated design solutions.
- Create and maintain accurate 3D models in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.
- Produce detailed drawings, layouts, sections and schedules from Revit models.
- Carry out model coordination and identify potential clashes or design issues.
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines, including architectural and structural teams.
- Ensure drawings and models meet company, project and industry standards.
- Maintain model quality, accuracy and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with BIM coordination and document control where required.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of technical output.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Proven experience working as a Revit Technician within the MEP / Building Services sector.
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Experience producing detailed MEP drawings and 3D models.
- Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building services.
- Experience working within a BIM environment.
- Knowledge of model coordination and clash detection.
- Ability to interpret engineering designs, specifications and technical information.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet project deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience with Navisworks and BIM coordination.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial or similar MEP projects.
- Understanding of relevant UK building services standards and BIM processes.
- Relevant technical qualification or industry experience.
