About the Role

Develop mechanical services designs from concept through to completion. Work across HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, public health and associated MEP systems. Produce and review technical calculations, specifications and design information. Work collaboratively with electrical, structural and architectural teams. Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders. Help deliver efficient, sustainable and innovative engineering solutions. Take on increasing levels of responsibility as your knowledge and experience grow. Contribute ideas and help shape the continued growth of the MEP team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with strong technical foundations, a practical approach to engineering and a genuine ambition to develop.

Essential

A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, MEP Engineering or another closely related discipline. Good understanding of mechanical building services and MEP principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and organisational abilities. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable

Experience within an MEP consultancy, engineering business, contractor or building services environment. Knowledge of relevant UK standards, regulations and industry practices. Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar. Experience working on building services projects. Working towards IEng or CEng professional registration
